Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tuberculosis Paru merupakan penyakit yang memiliki sifat
menginfeksi melalui udara yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium
Tuberculosis, penyakit ini menyerang saluran pernapasan sehingga dapat
menyebabkan terjadinya masalah pada jalan napas. Salah satu tindakan yang dapat
diberikan adalah manajemen airway atau manajemen jalan napas ditujukan untuk
mengurangi komplikasi yang terkait dengan jalan napas seperti membebaskan
jalan napas. Tujuan: penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran dari
penerapan manajemen airway terhadap peningkatan bersihan jalan napas pada
pasien TB Paru di Rumah Sakit Syekh Yusuf gowa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan
dengan menggunakan pendekatan metodologi keperawatan meliputi pengkajian,
diagnosa keperawatan, rencana keperawatan, tindakan keperawatan, dan evaluasi
keperawatan. Selain itu juga menggunakan teknik wawancara, pemeriksaan fisik,
observasi, dan pemeriksaan penunjang. Hasil: setelah dilakukan pengelolaan
didapatkan masalah ketidakefektifan bersihan jalan napas teratasi sebagian dapat
dibuktikan dari pasien sudah bisa mengeluarkan dahak, sesak nafas mulai
berkurang dan sudah mampu melakukan batuk efektif. Kesimpulan: setelah
diberikan asuhan keperawatan maka didapatkan bahwa penerapan manajemen
airway dapat membantu pasien dalam meningkatkan bersihan jalan napas yang
tidak efektif.

Background: Pulmonary Tuberculosis is a disease that infects the air through the
bacteria Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. This disease attacks the respiratory tract
and can cause airway problems. One of the actions that can be given is airway
management or airway management aimed at reducing complications related to
the airway, such as clearing the airway. Objective: This research was conducted to
determine the description of the implementation of airway management to increase
airway clearance in pulmonary TB patients at the Syekh Yusuf Hospital, Gowa.
Data collection was carried out using a nursing methodology approach including
assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing plan, nursing action, and nursing
evaluation. Apart from that, it also uses interview techniques, physical examination,
observation and supporting examinations. Result: after management, it was found
that the problem of ineffective airway clearance was resolved. Some of this can be
proven by the patient being able to expel phlegm, shortness of breath starting to
decrease and being able to cough effectively. Conclusion: after providing nursing
care, it was found that implementing airway management could help patients
improve the clearance of ineffective airways.
